About the Event
The Mitsuuri International Citizen Marathon, sister to the famous JAL Honolulu Marathon, celebrates its 42nd edition this year. This long-standing race offers four distinct distance options: half marathon, 10km run, 5km fun run, and a special kids' beach dash event. Taking place on March 7, 2027, runners will enjoy the scenic coastal routes of Mitsuuri Peninsula with its picturesque beaches, rolling farmlands, and charming fishing ports. The race starts just an eight-minute walk from the Kōkūen Station along the Keikyu Line. The half marathon course winds through a blend of seaside paths and rural landscapes, offering runners breathtaking views of the ocean and local countryside. For those looking for a shorter distance, both 10km and 5km routes provide opportunities to experience the unique charm of Mitsuuri's coastal scenery without committing to longer distances.
