At just 329.4 meters above sea level, this low-elevation peak offers a unique blend of rugged terrain and breathtaking vistas. The jagged ridgelines resemble saw teeth, giving rise to its name "Kusajima," or Saw Mountain.
The Kusajima Trail Run is part of the South Boso Trail Running Series, designed not only to challenge runners but also to celebrate the natural beauty and rich history of this area. Participants can choose between a 22km route that winds through varied terrain, including rocky outcrops and dense forest trails, or an 11km option for those seeking a more leisurely experience.

Registration fees are 9,000 yen for the longer route and 7,000 yen for the shorter option, with additional services like parking and pre-delivered materials available at an extra cost.
