On June 6, 2027, the Osaka Castle Triathlon returns to the historic grounds of Osaka Castle Park for its 36th edition. This prestigious event is part of both the 2027 Triathlon Age Group National Championship Series and the annual Osaka Prefectural Triathlon Sports Festival.
Competitors will take on a challenging course that includes swimming in the serene waters of Osaka Castle's East Outer Moat, cycling through scenic routes around the castle grounds, and running along picturesque paths. The event offers both Standard Distance (1.5km swim, 40.1km bike, 9.8km run) and Sprint Distance (0.75km swim, 18.6km bike, 5km run) categories for age group participants.
Elite athletes must qualify through their respective national federations to compete in the elite sprint distance race.
