2027 Hot Chocolate Hustle

On January 24, 2027, lace up your running shoes and join the fifth annual Hot Chocolate Hustle at FortWhyte Alive. This timed event offers both 5km and 10km routes through scenic winter trails, providing a unique opportunity to break into the season with fellow runners or walkers. After crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted with custom swag and a well-deserved finishers' medal, followed by steaming hot chocolate and a hearty pancake breakfast.
Registration is divided into five start times, each designed to ensure ample space for trail enjoyment and post-race seating during the complimentary breakfast. Moving between waves or distances isn't possible due to capacity constraints, so it's best to sign up early for your preferred slot. By participating in this event, you're not only enjoying a fun run but also supporting FortWhyte Alive’s efforts to maintain trails year-round and provide environmental education programs for youth.
Brace yourself for the vibrant atmosphere at FortWhyte as winter transforms its natural beauty into an enchanting backdrop for runners of all abilities.
