Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon 2027

On Sunday, May 2, 2027, the Winnipeg Police Service Half Marathon returns for its 24th year as an inclusive running event that celebrates community and raises funds for cancer research. For over two decades, this race has brought together hundreds of runners, volunteers, and spectators to support a cause that touches everyone's lives.
The half marathon route winds through scenic neighborhoods in Winnipeg, offering participants stunning views of the city skyline and vibrant local landmarks. Alongside dedicated volunteers who donate countless hours each year, runners will experience an atmosphere filled with encouragement and camaraderie as they push toward the finish line.
For those unable to attend on race day or preferring a flexible schedule, a virtual event option is available from April 25 through May 31, allowing participants to run at their convenience. Virtual competitors can upload results online and receive a finisher's medal by mail following the live event.
Fundraising remains a cornerstone of this year’s event, with all donations directed toward specific research projects supported by the Canadian Cancer Society. Participants are encouraged to join fundraising efforts that directly impact cancer research initiatives across Canada.
