The Blackrod Scarecrow 10K Race, returning for its fourth consecutive year on Sunday, June 27th, 2027, promises an exhilarating run through the scenic landscapes of Blackrod. The race starts at Hilltops Sports & Social Club in Blackrod, Bolton (BL6 5JW), where participants will gather early on the morning of June 27th for an enthusiastic kick-off at 9:00 am. All finishers can look forward to receiving a custom-designed medal as well as a goodie bag filled with surprises from local sponsors and supporters. For those aiming for top honors, there are impressive course records set: 34 minutes and 46 seconds for men and 43 minutes and 50 seconds for women. The first male finisher under the men's record time will receive £30 in cash, as well as a similar prize for the fastest female runner who breaks her respective record.
