Polar (Winter) Swim: D9, Quays (5/12)

For more than a decade, Uswim has hosted the 'POLAR (WINTER) SWIMS' at Dock 9 in Salford Quays, an invigorating tradition that promises to leave you buzzing with energy. This chilly plunge into the winter waters is celebrated for its profound benefits on both mental and physical well-being.
Participants are required to use a towfloat and wear swim caps (one or two) for safety reasons. Swimmers must also be confident in their abilities, as the event prioritizes everyone's comfort and security with dedicated water safety personnel on hand at all times. Wetsuits can be hired if desired, but skin swimmers are equally welcome to embrace the cold.
The Polar Winter Swim takes place between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM, allowing participants until 15 minutes before the end time for their last entry into the water. After your daring dip, warm up with complimentary hot drinks and delicious cakes provided by Uswim to help you recover.
