About the Event

Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Skipton Multisport Festival on Saturday, May 23, 2027. Located at Aireville Park and the Skipton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub, this family-friendly event offers a diverse range of activities for athletes of all ages.
The festival features junior triathlons as part of the Yorkshire Junior Series, with distances tailored to young racers from age 8 through to 16. These events provide structured progression in swimming, cycling, and running disciplines, fostering growth and development among aspiring multisport athletes.
For adults, there's a sprint triathlon that includes a pool-based swim followed by a scenic bike ride of 22km and concludes with a 5km run around Aireville Park. The event is also part of the Yorkshire Senior Series, attracting both newcomers to triathlon and seasoned competitors looking for a fast-paced challenge.
In addition to individual races, participants can join in on relay events or take part in cycling sportives that explore the picturesque Yorkshire countryside with routes stretching from 60km to 100km. Both distances feature café stops along the way, ensuring riders are well-fueled and ready for a rewarding ride through scenic roads.
The Skipton Multisport Festival is more than just racing; it’s an inclusive celebration of sport and community spirit in Aireville Park. Spectators can enjoy food stalls, entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes the event enjoyable for all visitors.
Join local clubs like Craven Energy Triathlon Club and Skipton Cycling Club as they come together to create a standout weekend filled with camaraderie and competition. Whether you're racing or spectating, this festival offers an unforgettable day in one of Yorkshire's most charming towns—the Gateway to the Dales.
