19th Daegu Mayor’s Cup Sports-for-All Athletics Championships

On November 22, 2026, Daegu Stadium will host the Daegu Sports Council's athletics meeting, featuring a dynamic mix of road racing and track events. Participants can register for KRW 20,000 to compete in either the 10K run or two individual track events: the 100m sprint and the 200m dash. The day kicks off at Daegu Stadium with a morning assembly from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., followed by the start of the 10K race at precisely 9:00 a.m.
The 10K route takes runners on two laps around a scenic 5K circuit that encircles Daegu Stadium. With an 80-minute time limit, this event challenges both seasoned athletes and recreational runners alike as they navigate through the stadium's surroundings.
Track events follow with heats for the 100m at 11:10 a.m., setting the stage for high-speed dashes down the track, followed by the equally thrilling 200m sprint starting at 11:50 a.m.
Registration is open from October 15 to November 5, with group applications due on October 31. The event promises an energizing atmosphere as competitors and spectators alike celebrate athletic prowess in this vibrant sports setting. Lunch will be provided for all participants, along with medals marking their achievement at the end of a memorable day.
With limited spots available—only 200 entries are accepted—the Daegu Sports Council invites runners to secure their place early for an unforgettable experience on November 22.
