2026 Innovation City Marathon

On November 15, 2026, runners will gather at Sinseo Central Park in Daegu Innovation City for the annual road-running celebration of innovation. The morning starts with registration and warm-up activities from 8:00 AM, leading into a vibrant start line atmosphere by 9:00 AM. Participants can choose between two distances: a scenic 5 km course priced at KRW 25,000 or the more challenging 10 km route for KRW 40,000. Both races feature timing chips and net time results.
The event is supported by Dong-gu, Daegu, and organized by Yeongnam Ilbo in partnership with Daeil Planning. Runners will enjoy a mix of urban landscapes and modern architecture as they traverse the carefully designed routes within the innovation city. Refreshments await finishers at the end, along with medals for all participants who complete their chosen distance.
Changing rooms and bag storage facilities are available to ensure runners can focus on their performance without worrying about personal belongings. Bibs and souvenirs will be shipped in advance of race day, and digital certificates will be provided upon completion. Participants must register before the deadline and cannot make changes after registration closes; refund requests close at 5:00 PM on October 30, 2026.
This event promises a memorable experience for runners looking to explore Daegu's innovative spirit while enjoying a well-organized race in an inspiring setting.
