2nd 83 TOWER UPHILL RUN CHALLENGE

On November 8, 2026, the E-World 83 Tower will host its second annual Uphill Run Challenge. Situated in Daegu at E-World Parking Lot 1, this unique race offers runners a challenging ascent of approximately 1.8 kilometers uphill to reach the finish line on the 77th floor of the iconic tower.
Participants can choose between two entry types: General Challenge and Family Challenge. The General Challenge is open to individuals aged 18 and over for KRW 55,000, while the Family Challenge allows one guardian and one child to participate in a modified route that includes an elevator ride after the uphill section due to safety concerns.
Race day begins at 6:30 AM with check-in starting at 6:00 AM. Warm-up sessions commence at 7:00 AM, leading into the first start time of 7:30 AM. This year's event introduces individual chip timing for accurate results and a competitive edge among participants.
In addition to the exhilarating climb up E-World Tower, runners will receive an all-day pass to explore E-World, along with official finisher medals, drawstring bags filled with goodies such as sports drinks, towels, and welcome gifts. Recovery programs are available from 7:30 AM onwards, providing essential post-race care.
Registration for the event closes on October 31, 2026, with no race-day sign-ups allowed. Participants must save their booking number and complete a Naver form to finalize registration; cancellations before this date qualify for full refunds but are not available afterwards.
