On Mother’s Day weekend, join the YMCA Bucks County Strong 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Participants will start at War Memorial Stadium at Central Bucks West High School before embarking on an invigorating journey that highlights the charming architecture and green spaces of this picturesque town.
For those looking for a more relaxed experience, there's also a 1-mile kids fun run starting earlier in the morning to accommodate young runners eager to join the festivities. Both races offer pre-race entertainment and enthusiastic community support along the course, creating an atmosphere that’s welcoming for all ages and skill levels.
Upon crossing the finish line at War Memorial Stadium, runners are treated to family-friendly activities, vendor tables offering local goods, and a DJ spinning tunes for post-race celebrations. The event concludes with surprises dedicated to honoring mothers on this special day, making it a memorable way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend in style.
The YMCA Bucks County Strong race is more than just a run; it's an opportunity to support the River Crossing YMCA’s charitable efforts and community programs that strengthen local families through health initiatives and social responsibility. Join us for a morning filled with joy, camaraderie, and the chance to make lasting memories in Doylestown’s vibrant setting.
All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting important causes such as financial assistance for children's programs and summer camps, feeding at-risk youth, and offering free health support programs for veterans and cancer survivors.
