Woodside/Purisima Creek Crossover

Experience the rugged beauty of Huddart Park and Purisima Creek Redwoods Open Space Preserve at the Inside Trail Racing event on April 17, 2027. This trail running paradise features diverse terrain from forested slopes to steep canyons, winding through second and third generation redwood groves dripping with moss. Runners will encounter a mix of evergreen forests and chaparral-covered ridges, offering panoramic views along the way.
The race distances range from 10K to an epic 50K, providing challenges for both novice trail runners and seasoned ultramarathon veterans alike. Along the routes, you may spot wildlife such as black-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, and grey foxes sharing your path. Aid stations are well-stocked with a variety of energy-boosting items including Gu Energy gels, Skratch Labs hydration mix, PB&J sandwiches, and fresh fruits like bananas and watermelon.
Volunteers play an essential role in making the event possible by assisting at aid stations, course marshaling, timing, and post-race festivities. In appreciation, volunteers receive a free race T-shirt, complimentary food, and credit toward future Inside Trail Racing events based on their hours of service.
Registration for guaranteed shirt sizes closes April 4, 2026. All finishers will be awarded custom medals, with top overall winners receiving trophies and unique sponsor prizes. Additionally, the last finisher in each event will claim a special Dead Last Finisher award.
