XC Turkey Trot 2.2 mile 2026

Join us at Gunn High School for an exciting fun run along the scenic Gunn XC 2.2-mile course on November 26, 2026. The day's festivities kick off with one main race starting promptly at 10 am, allowing you to enjoy a morning jog before heading home in time for Thanksgiving preparations. While there won't be official race t-shirts available this year, participants can choose from some retro designs that add a nostalgic flair.
The atmosphere is lively and playful, featuring silly fun prizes awarded throughout the event to keep runners smiling. Families looking to participate together should contact the event director about special discounts designed to make it easier for everyone to join in on the fun. Race day registration will be available at $15 per person; please bring exact change as online payment is not an option.
New this year, kids have a chance to shine with Joy's Jackrabbits half lapper race following the main event. This addition offers young runners their own course and prizes, ensuring there’s something for all ages on Thanksgiving weekend.
