Winter Series 4 - Flax Mill Cafe

Embark on an adventure through the digital landscape of Ditherington Flax Mill with MapRun's virtual orienteering challenge. On February 28, 2027, participants can choose between two exciting courses—45 or 90 minutes long—and set off anytime from 10am to 11am. Navigate through the historic mill and its surroundings using satellite punching technology on your smartphone or smartwatch app. Whether you're a solo explorer or part of a team, this event offers flexibility in pacing and route choice.
Finishers are invited back to the Ditherington Flax Mill Cafe for post-race refreshments at SY1 2SZ. The cafe provides a warm welcome after conquering the digital terrain. For those driving, there's convenient parking behind the mill. Bring along your well-behaved dog on a short lead; they're welcome too!
Ideal for all ages and skill levels, this event requires no prior experience—just an adventurous spirit ready to explore and enjoy.
