Mark your calendars for a memorable celebration on Sunday, November 29, 2026, at Sorrento's at the Caboto Centre. The doors will open at 3:00 PM, welcoming runners and supporters to an afternoon filled with camaraderie and recognition of achievements in various running series. At 4:00 PM, the program kicks off with a vibrant atmosphere as participants gather to honor accomplishments from the year. The highlight of the event is the Italian buffet served at 4:30 PM, featuring delicious pasta, garlic sticks, Sorrento's signature salad, and an array of dainties. Coffee and tea will complement this delightful meal perfectly. Attendees can look forward to receiving awards for participation and competition in the MRA Youth Race Series, as well as medals from the Indigenous Run Series and Celebration Series. The event also features Classic Race Series Awards, generously sponsored by Running Room, alongside National Excellence Awards donated by Mr. Rob Guy. The day will be further enhanced with a silent auction offering exciting prizes, including the popular 50/50 draw where winners must be present to claim their prize. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite race shirts and enjoy this special occasion at Sorrento's Caboto Centre, located at 1055 Wilkes Avenue. Tickets for reserved tables seating up to ten people can be purchased in advance by contacting the MRA office; rush seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't miss out on celebrating your achievements and those of fellow runners during this festive event!
