WENTWORTH CASTLE GARDENS TRAIL RUNS - 5KM & 10KM

Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of Wentworth Castle Gardens for an unforgettable 5km or 10km Trail Run on Wednesday, June 16, 2027. This evening event offers runners exclusive access to this stunning Grade I registered landscape, providing a perfect setting for both training and racing.
The 5km route is ideal for beginners and younger participants aged 11 years and older, while the more seasoned runner will enjoy the scenic challenge of the 10km course designed for those aged 15+. Both routes wind through the parkland’s picturesque paths and ancient woodlands, taking you past historic landmarks like Wentworth Castle's gothic turrets, the Rotunda, Serpentine Bridge, and Stainborough Castle.
Wentworth Castle Gardens spans over 500 acres of rolling hills, offering breathtaking views at every turn. The event is also welcoming to Canicross enthusiasts; one controlled dog per runner is permitted on a lead throughout the run.
Participants will experience live chip-timing by Timing Up North, ensuring accurate and instant race results. Upon crossing the finish line, all runners are rewarded with a medal, merchandise item, snack, and drink.
