PECO XC League 2026-27

The PECO Cross Country League is an exhilarating series of five races held across various picturesque locations around Leeds throughout the year, offering runners from affiliated clubs the chance to compete in both men's and ladies divisions. Each race spans approximately 4-5 miles through varied terrain that showcases the beauty of Yorkshire’s countryside.
Competitors have two options for entry: purchasing a season ticket online or entering each race individually on the day. A season pass costs £17, providing access not only to all five races but also to end-of-season relays and presentation events where runners can celebrate their achievements with fellow participants. Once you register and pay for your season ticket, there’s no need to repeat registration throughout the year—simply collect your race number at the first event and use it for each subsequent race.
For those preferring a more spontaneous approach, single-day entries are available on race day for £8 per race. However, these “Guest” entries do not contribute towards team scores or individual series competition rankings.
All participants receive a numbered timing chip to track their performance throughout the season. Should you lose your number during one of the races, replacements can be purchased at Race HQ for just £3.
To participate in the league, runners must be affiliated members of an England Athletics club and meet a minimum age requirement of 16 on race day. Veterans categories are determined based on participants' ages as of the date of the first race. Unattached runners do not qualify to join this exclusive series but may run as guests if they wish.
