Walla Walla 6 Hour

Experience the Walla Walla 6 Hour Trail Race, an exclusive women's-only endurance event scheduled for April 10, 2027. Hosted by Run Oregon at picturesque Bennington Lake, this race continues a legacy of empowering female trail runners while supporting local communities and causes.
The course features a scenic 5-mile loop along the Whitetail Trail, encircling serene Bennington Lake with its mix of double-track paths and single-tracks. Participants can tackle multiple loops over six hours, climbing nearly 370 feet per circuit through varied terrain that includes rolling hills and forested sections.
In the final hour, runners have access to a shorter 1-mile course for those looking for an additional challenge or a quick lap before wrapping up their day on the trails. The event not only celebrates women in trail running but also supports Trail Sisters—a platform dedicated to advancing women's rights and safety within the sport.
Registration is available through UltraSignup until the Wednesday prior to the race, with options to join a waitlist if spots are full at time of sign-up. A portion of proceeds will benefit YWCA Walla Walla, which provides crucial services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the community.
Participants who complete all six hours earn a Trail Sisters trucker hat, while the woman logging the most loops receives a special gift basket. The event is pending USATF sanctioning approval but promises an inspiring day on the trails with fellow runners.
