Step into the heart of Provence and prepare for an unforgettable challenge: the VentouxMan Triathlon. Set against the backdrop of the legendary Mont Ventoux on September 18, 2027, this iconic race invites athletes to conquer one of France's most revered mountains.
The event kicks off with a thrilling 2-kilometer swim in Lac de Monteux, where participants complete two laps and experience an exhilarating Australian exit mid-course. The crowd's fervor adds energy as you push through the water towards your bike transition.
Next up is the formidable climb of Mont Ventoux on its most challenging path—a grueling yet rewarding 104 kilometers that will test even the toughest cyclists. As you pedal, stunning natural landscapes unfold around you, culminating in panoramic views from the mountain’s summit.
The race concludes with a scenic 18-kilometer run along the shores of Lac de Monteux, offering two loops through picturesque Provence countryside and quaint villages just outside Carpentras. This final stretch is an opportunity to soak up the beauty while pushing your body to its limits.
Participants can choose between solo or relay formats for teams of two or three members, each taking on their respective disciplines—swim, bike, run—with transitions managed efficiently from a centralized location.
The VentouxMan also hosts additional events including Duathlon L and Gravel M Triathlon for off-road enthusiasts, as well as Aquathlon Kids for young participants.
Post-race festivities include a hearty buffet to refuel your energy, cold beverages, and osteopath services for recovery treatments. The surrounding area is rich with charming villages like Pernes-les-Fontaines, Carpentras, Venasque, Bédoin, and Avignon, perfect for exploration after the race.
