Vale of York 5M & 10M 2027

The Vale of York 10 Mile Race invites runners to experience one of Yorkshire's fastest courses on March 21, 2027. Situated between York and Leeds, this race offers a smooth, flat terrain that caters perfectly for personal best attempts over the 10-mile distance. Participants start from a bustling car park near Race HQ before heading south through scenic villages with closed roads ensuring a traffic-free run.
For those looking to cover less ground while still enjoying the same fast and rural experience, there's also a complementary 5 Mile race available on the exact route but half the length. Both races promise an unobstructed course that showcases Yorkshire’s countryside at its best.
Upon crossing the finish line, runners are greeted with chocolate treats alongside water to refuel their energy after the challenging yet rewarding journey. Additionally, every participant receives a unique wooden medal, crafted locally in support of UK businesses and environmentally conscious practices. These medals not only celebrate your achievement but also promote sustainability by reducing carbon footprints associated with traditional metal medals.
Join us for an unforgettable race day that combines speed, scenic beauty, and eco-friendly traditions.
