Tsitsikamma Hike - 9 June 2027

Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of Tsitsikamma's mountains and forests with our guided slack packing adventure. Over five days, from June 9 to June 13, 2027, you'll hike through pristine landscapes without the burden of a heavy backpack, as your gear is transported ahead to each overnight hut. This journey begins in Nature’s Valley and concludes at Paul Sauer Bridge (Storms River), offering breathtaking views along mountain passes, ancient forests, dramatic coastlines, and hidden valleys. Each day brings new scenery—from coastal thicket and fynbos to Afro-montane forest and pine plantations—highlighted by spectacular river crossings and scenic waterfalls. The pace is comfortable, allowing you to savor the journey without rushing. Communal hot showers are provided via a donkey boiler system at each overnight hut, enhancing your immersion in this natural paradise.
