Triathlon de Nantes

Join the Triathlon Club Nantais for the third edition of their Triathlon de Nantes on Sunday, October 18, 2026. This race is held ahead of the renowned Triathlon des Roses and supports breast cancer research through a partnership with the Arc Foundation.
Competitors can choose between an individual XS Open format or participate in the Départemental Championnat for young athletes aged 12 to 17 years old. The adult category features drafting, making it suitable for all levels of triathletes.
The swim segment takes place at Léo Lagrange Pool with a rolling start every five seconds. Participants must bring their own swimming caps and complete the course in the 50-meter pool over a distance of 200 meters.
Next up is a bike ride along Gaston Michel Street, covering three laps for a total distance of 7.5 kilometers. Cyclists will head towards Cité des Congrès before returning to the starting point.
The race concludes with a scenic run across Nantes Island, featuring a picturesque loop around the Guinguette du Belvédère and back again over a course length of 3 kilometers. The route includes crossing the iconic Victor Schoelcher footbridge for breathtaking views of the Loire riverfront area.
All participants must register online in advance via Timepulse at https://www.timepulse.fr/ as there are no on-site registrations available due to limited space constraints. Licenced FFTRI members will need a valid 2025-26 or 2026-27 competition license, while non-members can purchase an Experience License for €4.
Dossards (race bibs) will be distributed at the Léo Lagrange Gymnasium in Nantes on Saturday from 16:00 to 18:00 and again early Sunday morning between 07:30 and 08:30. Please bring your photo ID for verification purposes.
The race starts promptly with the young athletes at 9:00 AM, followed by adult participants shortly after at 9:10 AM. The awards ceremony will commence around mid-morning at approximately 10:15 AM to celebrate all racers' achievements.
Experience a unique blend of urban and natural settings as you swim in an indoor pool, cycle along the Loire River banks, and run through historic Nantes Island for this memorable triathlon event.
