TRAIL RUN - BURACO DO PADRE

On December 20, 2026, the Parque de Natureza Buraco do Padre in Ponta Grossa/PR hosts its annual Trail Run. This scenic race offers runners three distances: approximately 7 km, 14 km, and a challenging 21 km course through stunning natural landscapes. The event is organized by Cavali Pró Eventos on behalf of the Parque de Natureza Buraco do Padre.
Participants will experience breathtaking views as they navigate winding trails that wind through lush greenery and around serene lakes. Each distance features multiple hydration stations, ensuring runners stay refreshed throughout their journey. For those tackling the 21 km route, additional self-supplied hydration is recommended due to its lengthier duration of up to four hours.
The race begins at different times for each category: competitive categories start first with the 21km kicking off at 8 AM, followed by the 14km and 7km races. The contemplative walk starts shortly after all runners have begun their respective courses.
Trail Run aims to promote physical activity in a pristine natural setting away from urban pollution, offering participants an opportunity not only to compete but also to immerse themselves in nature's beauty. This event is open to athletes aged 16 and older for the shorter distances and 18 years or above for longer races.
Runners can look forward to experiencing the unique charm of Buraco do Padre while enjoying a day filled with exercise, fresh air, and scenic vistas that make this trail run an unforgettable adventure.
