The Rocky Horror Picture Show

About the Event

Step into the quirky world of Shropshire this summer for an unforgettable running experience like no other – the Rocky Horror Picture Show Tribute Run. Set amidst the heart of Shrewsbury, runners will circle around the purpose-built cycle track, a fast and flat course that has seen many personal best times in recent years. With music blaring and participants decked out in their most outrageous costumes inspired by the cult classic film, this event promises to be as much about fun and laughter as it is about running.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show Tribute Run offers four distances: 5k, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon. Each lap around the track brings runners back into a sea of colorful characters and lively cheers from spectators. The race starts at 10am on August 8th, 2027, with all participants invited to enjoy post-race refreshments, changing facilities, and showers in the nearby sports village.
Join us for an event that's not just about crossing the finish line but immersing yourself in a day of whimsy and camaraderie. Don't miss out on one of Shropshire’s most talked-about summer traditions!
