The Cider Run

Embark on the Green Newton Cider Run, scheduled for September 18, 2027, at Slabtown Cider Co. in Uxbridge, Ontario. This unique race celebrates autumn's arrival with trail running through the exclusive Woodnewton Farm trails, offering a rare glimpse into one of Canada’s most scenic private trail networks across the Oak Ridges Moraine. Participants can choose from various distances: the 40K Bushel for seasoned runners, the 8K Apple for those looking to cruise at a steady pace, and the family-friendly 3.5K Sauce route or Kids' Fun Runs starting throughout the morning.
The course features rolling hardwood forests, winding single tracks, punchy climbs, and flowing descents that challenge even the most experienced trail runners. Each loop presents a mix of runnable stretches with technical sections under the forest canopy, rewarding determination with stunning views at every turn. The race concludes with local food, handcrafted cider from Slabtown Cider Co., and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Green Newton Adventures, an environmental organization based in Ontario, organizes this event to promote sustainability and conservation through outdoor activities that connect people with nature. Join the celebration of trail running and autumn at one of Canada’s most unique race experiences.
