THE BALITO 100 MILER 2026

The Munga events calendar welcomes all gravel and mountain bikers to The 100-Miler Series on April 17, 2027. This grueling yet rewarding journey spans an impressive 100 miles through challenging terrain, testing both mental fortitude and physical endurance. Riders will face a variety of obstacles including fatigue, cramps, and unpredictable weather conditions as they push themselves to the limit. Starting early on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, participants are encouraged to begin with confidence but must rely on self-discipline and smart nutrition strategies throughout the race.
Registration for this event is mandatory on April 17 from 5:00 AM onwards and can only be completed online via www.themunga.com/the-100-milers/. With a limit of 1,000 entries available, early bird pricing at R1199 applies until January 1, 2027. Normal entry fees thereafter will cost R1450.
The race offers substantial prize money with a total pool of R52,200, divided between the 100 Miler and 50 Miler categories. Top finishers in each category can earn significant cash prizes as well as vouchers redeemable for future Munga events. Payment must be completed within 24 hours to secure an entry spot.
Participants will experience a true test of endurance that culminates not just with crossing the finish line, but with the satisfaction and anticipation for their next challenge.
