Devon's Running Events is excited to present its Winter Challenge Day 2, scheduled for Saturday, April 10th, 2027. This unique event operates under the 'TUGG' system—Turn Up Get Going—which means participants can start anytime between 7:30 and 14:30 but must finish by 15:30. The route is a picturesque stretch of an old disused train line, offering runners and walkers alike a scenic backdrop for their journey. Each lap measures precisely 5.3 kilometers out and back over tarmac terrain, ensuring accurate distance measurement and classification as a road race. All abilities are welcome—from casual strollers to seasoned athletes—everyone has the opportunity to complete laps until they reach their personal limit by the cutoff time of 15:30. Regardless of how many laps you manage to finish, from one lap to fourteen or more, every participant is celebrated and recognized as a winner upon crossing the finish line. Medals are awarded to all participants who meet the event requirements, making it an inclusive celebration for runners of all skill levels. With limited spots available, early registration is recommended to secure your place in this memorable day out on Devon's serene landscapes. For those unable to register due to capacity constraints, bespoke medals will be offered from a selection available at the venue. This ensures that no one misses out on commemorating their participation with an exclusive keepsake.
