TBF MTB Clinic - Off Road Mountain Biking

Immerse yourself in the world of off-road cycling with Total Body Fitness's Mountain Bike Clinic, designed to cater to riders of all skill levels. This full-day program offers two distinct tiers: Level 1 for beginners and intermediates looking to build a solid foundation, and Level 2 for those ready to push their limits.
The day kicks off at 9 AM with an introduction from our professional coaches who will guide you through the essentials of mountain biking. You'll start by learning about equipment setup, bike maintenance, trail etiquette, and gear selection. The morning session also includes practical training on cadence, shifting gears, balance techniques, starts and stops, cornering skills, and emergency maneuvers.
After a brief break for refreshments provided by Clif Bar and FLUID fuel/snacks, the Level 1 clinic transitions into an afternoon of hands-on practice. Participants will have the opportunity to ride local trails at Granite Beach under expert supervision, solidifying their newly acquired skills in real-world conditions.
For those ready to take it up a notch, the Level 2 clinic delves deeper into advanced techniques such as line selection on varied terrain, passing strategies, and mastering climbs and descents. The afternoon session includes demonstrations of sand riding and jumping, along with tips for clearing obstacles and navigating rock gardens. Coaches will also share their favorite local trails and hidden gems.
The day concludes at noon with a group ride that allows participants to apply what they've learned on the challenging terrain around Granite Beach. This event is more than just training; it's an opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists, enjoy scenic rides, and enhance your riding proficiency in a supportive environment.
