Stouffville Main Street 5K

Join us for the vibrant Stouffville Main Street 5K and Kids 1K Dash on June 20, 2027. This beloved annual race benefits the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, offering both competitive runners and casual walkers a memorable experience.
The event kicks off with registration opening at 7:30 am, followed by an inspiring Opening Remarks at 8:00 am. The Main Street 5K will commence promptly at 8:30 am in waves based on your anticipated completion time—choose from Red (under 25 minutes), Yellow (25:01-30:00 minutes), Blue (30:01-35:00 minutes), Green (35:01-45:00 minutes), or Purple (over 45 minutes). Strollers are to be positioned at the back of their respective waves, and walkers should join the Purple group.
For those with children aged 6 and under, the Kids 1K Dash will start at 10:00 am. This fun-filled run through the charming streets is perfect for families.
Runners Village opens early, providing a space to warm up or socialize before your race. Leashed dogs are welcome in the village but not on the course due to safety concerns. Bicycles, rollerblades, and scooters are also prohibited.
While fundraising isn't mandatory, we encourage participants to set personal goals—suggested minimum is $100 for adults and $50 for children. All funds raised go directly to supporting the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt from the foundation. For those who exceed their fundraising targets, there's an exciting draw with prizes up for grabs.
