Join young athletes aged 3-15 on June 27, 2027, at Garnet Graham Beach Park in Fenelon Falls for the Kawartha Kids Triathlon. This welcoming event is designed to introduce children and youth to triathlons with age-appropriate distances that focus on fun and building confidence. Participants will navigate a swim, bike ride, and run tailored specifically for their age group. The youngest competitors (ages 3-5) can enjoy a short pool swim of just 15 meters, followed by a gentle cycle over 200 meters and a final dash across 50 meters on foot. Older kids will tackle progressively longer distances up to the challenging course designed for ages 14–15: a half-kilometer swim, a ten-kilometer bike ride, and an exhilarating four-kilometer run. The event features enthusiastic volunteers who provide support throughout each stage of the race, ensuring that every participant feels encouraged and safe. With professional timing services, custom finisher medals, and post-race refreshments included in registration fees, this is a day packed with fun and encouragement for young athletes to celebrate their achievements. Registration opens November 27, 2026, at 9:00 AM through Race Roster; early sign-up is recommended as space will be limited within each age category. Pre-race bib pickup takes place on June 26 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre Ice Pad. Volunteers are also needed for race day, with opportunities ranging from supporting the swim area and finish line assistance to helping set up and tear down event facilities. Join us in making this a memorable experience for all participants!
