Stilbaai 10km 2026

On December 31, 2026, runners and walkers are invited to participate in the vibrant Stilbaai Run, part of the NSRI station fundraiser. The event offers both 5 km and 10 km routes that wind through quiet residential streets alongside the serene Goukou Lagoon and beachfront trails. A highlight for many participants is the final stretch of the 10 km race, which includes a scenic 3-kilometer loop through the Melkhout forest in Skulpiesbaai Reserve.
Registration takes place on December 30th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the NSRI building and continues early on race day from 5:00 AM to 6:30 AM. Both distances start promptly at 7:00 AM, allowing runners to enjoy a morning of fitness against stunning coastal scenery.
The Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA) sponsors significant prize money for top finishers in various categories including overall male and female winners, junior champions under the age of 20, veteran champions aged 40-49, masters champions aged 50-59, and grandmasters over 60. A special bonus awaits any record-breaking performance.
Adding to the excitement is a R25,000 lucky draw prize for one participant in the 10 km race at the starting line just before the event begins. The atmosphere promises to be electric as participants gather to support this meaningful cause and enjoy the picturesque setting of Stilbaai's coast.
