St Francis Sport Summer Series 2026

On the picturesque shores of Paradise Beach, runners and walkers gather for an invigorating morning on December 16. The St Francis Sport Summer Series kicks off with its first event, offering distances that cater to all ages and abilities: a fun-filled kids' race (under 10 years) at 1km, a spirited 5km run, and a challenging 10km course for those seeking an extra push.
The day begins early as participants meet at the Paradise Beach Community Hall on Seebries Avenue. Registration opens one hour before the start time of 8:00 AM, with race briefings starting at 7:45 AM to ensure everyone is prepared and informed about the route ahead. The scenic run takes runners through the tranquil streets lined with coastal views, offering a blend of pavement and soft trails that showcase the beauty of Paradise Beach.
The event promises not only personal achievement but also community spirit as participants cheer each other on. After crossing the finish line, winners in various age categories (open, under 18, and under 14) will be recognized with medals during short prize-giving ceremonies at the venue. Full results are then posted online for all to see.
As part of a series that rewards dedication throughout the season, participants can enter individual events or opt for discounted entry into the full St Francis Sport Summer Series. This initial event sets the tone for an exciting lineup of races and walks in December, inviting both locals and visitors alike to embrace the vibrant atmosphere of Paradise Beach with its stunning coastal backdrop.
