Sabrina Love Foundation MTB Challenge

Embark on an exhilarating adventure through the lush trails of Kurland Estate and MTO forestry for the MTB Challenge, a highlight of Plettenberg Bay’s Summer Challenge series. Competitors can choose from three distances: 40km E-Bike or MTB routes with a challenging elevation gain of approximately 702 meters, starting at 07h15; a more accessible yet rewarding 25km option for intermediate riders beginning at 07h30; and an introductory 10km route ideal for beginners and younger cyclists setting off at 07h45. Each race weaves through indigenous forests and fynbos-covered hills, offering technical sections that test your skills while providing stunning scenery throughout the ride. Water points are strategically placed along all routes to keep you hydrated as you pedal or cycle towards the finish line. With no cut-off times in place, expect a supportive atmosphere from start to finish, cheering on every participant until they cross the tape. All proceeds go directly to supporting children with disabilities through the Sabrina Love Foundation, making your ride both an athletic achievement and a meaningful contribution to charity.
