Sherwood Outpaw The Thoresby Chill 26/27 - Cubs

On February 7, 2027, runners of all ages and skill levels are invited to explore the picturesque Thoresby Estate within Thoresby Park near Newark, Nottinghamshire. The event offers a variety of courses designed for both human athletes and those who love to run with their canine companions.
Registration begins at 8:00 AM sharp, providing ample time before the race start at 9:15 AM. Participants will enjoy a mix of terrain that challenges runners while showcasing the estate's diverse landscapes. Suitable footwear is recommended as the trail weaves through varied surfaces and conditions.
The event features both long and short courses for adults, each with options to run solo or with one or two dogs. For younger participants, there are junior categories for ages 10-17 and a special cub race for children aged nine and under. These races cater to all levels of experience and provide an engaging introduction to the sport.
Parking is available on-site at £3 per car, ensuring convenient access to the event area. Participants can look forward to enjoying scenic views while navigating trails that wind through wooded areas and open fields.
After crossing the finish line, runners will gather for prize giving at 12:00 PM, where achievements are celebrated with a sense of community spirit. Entry fees vary based on category:
- Long Course (adults): £22 (£20 for Sherwood Cani Sports Club members)
- Short Course: £17 (£15 for club members)
- Juniors: £13
- Cubs race is free of charge
