The event takes place within the expansive grounds of Lambton Park, where runners will traverse scenic trails winding around the historic castle and alongside the picturesque River Wear. The functional workout component is conveniently located just outside the Castle's grand walls, allowing participants to seamlessly transition between running routes and high-intensity exercises.
Participants can choose from both paired and solo workout options tailored for all levels of fitness enthusiasts. Detailed route information will be provided closer to the event date, ensuring that each runner knows exactly what to expect on race day. Start times are assigned via email one week prior to the event, with windows ranging between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Competitors will enjoy live chip timing throughout their journey, providing accurate results for all participants. Upon crossing the finish line, runners will be rewarded with exclusive merchandise from our esteemed sponsors—a unique keepsake commemorating this special day at Lambton Castle.
In addition to the memorable experience on course, podium positions in each standard (RX) category will receive commemorative flags, which will be mailed out after the event. Parking is available for a modest fee of £4.00, ensuring easy access to the venue.
