Run O'Clock Backyard Ultra 2027

Welcome to the Run O’Clock Backyard Ultra 2027, set to kick off on August 14 at Vedstedskovhus. This unique ultra-distance race invites runners of all levels to join the challenge as they loop through Ravnkilden and back towards Rebild Porten.
The course consists of a 6.7-kilometer circuit that must be completed within an hour, following the classic Backyard Ultra format. Each round begins on the hour, creating an engaging dynamic where endurance meets community spirit rather than outright competition. Runners who complete their laps in less time enjoy brief pauses before starting anew.
The route winds through forest trails with some singletrack and a touch of asphalt, offering scenic views around every bend. With approximately 130 meters of elevation gain per loop, the terrain is manageable yet challenging enough to test your limits without being overly technical.
Starting at Vedstedskovhus, runners will find covered areas nearby for storing gear and changing clothes throughout the day. Refreshments like water, energy products, and fruit are available along the way.
Join us on August 14 for a memorable day of running amidst nature's beauty and camaraderie.
