Race for Grace Place

On April 3, 2027, the Race for Grace Place invites runners and walkers alike to join a meaningful community event at Galloway United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. The race begins at 8 AM with both a 5K run/walk and a leisurely Block Walk around the church grounds. Packet pick-up is available on Friday, April 2nd from 4 PM to 7 PM or on Race Day starting at 7 AM.
Participants will experience an atmosphere filled with support for Grace Place's mission of serving those in need within their community. The race route winds through scenic streets and past the church itself, offering a glimpse into the heartwarming work being done by this ministry year-round. After crossing the finish line, runners can enjoy art sales, tours of the Foundery space, and fellowship with other participants.
The event continues well after the races conclude, featuring post-race awards for all age groups and a complimentary meal provided to everyone who takes part in the day's activities. Whether you're an avid runner or prefer to walk at your own pace, this race offers something special—a chance to contribute to a cause that uplifts those facing food insecurity and other challenges.
Join us on April 3rd for a morning filled with community spirit and impactful support of Grace Place’s essential services in Jackson.
