PurePower Backyard Skive - 24 timer 2027

The PurePower Backyard Skive 24 Hour Race invites runners to experience an endurance challenge like no other on August 14 and 15, 2027. Set at Hancock, Humlevej 32 in Skive, this event is organized by the Backyard Club in collaboration with PurePower as the main sponsor.
The race unfolds over a course distance of 6.7 kilometers per lap, designed to test mental fortitude and strategic planning alongside fostering a strong sense of community among participants. Runners will encounter unique moments during their journey, including running through darkness into night and witnessing sunrise upon completion of laps. This event is less about speed or competition than it is about stamina, energy management, and social camaraderie.
Participants start at Hancock Bryggeriet in Skive and follow a scenic route that takes them into Krabbesholm Forest and along the picturesque Limfjorden Strandtangen coastline before returning to the brewery. The course features gentle undulations with relatively low elevation changes, blending forest trails and asphalt roads for a varied terrain experience.
PurePower supports runners throughout their journey by providing energy drinks and setting up facilities that cater to extended periods of movement. Alongside the race route are depots stocked with supplies from PurePower, Hancock Bryggeriet, and event organizers, ensuring participants have everything they need during this 24-hour adventure.
