About the Event

The Thanksgiving Day TURKEY TROT to benefit the Pregnancy Care Center will be held at Festival Park in Brownwood Texas. The route will take place along the Camp Bowie Trail. Parking will be available at Gordon Wood Stadium.

Race t-shirts guaranteed to racers registered by October 31, 2026.

Founded in 1857, it has some of the common origin stories of Texas towns with railroads and oil booms, and it was considered to be the biggest cotton center west of Fort Worth at the turn of the century. What really spurred its growth though was the establishment of a WWII training camp called Camp Bowie.
