Peytons Wild and Wacky 10x5K

The event features two main races: a grueling yet exhilarating 50K Ultra and a shorter yet equally engaging 5K run. The 50K Ultra, starting at 8:00 AM, challenges participants to complete ten consecutive 5K loops around the scenic Laurel Hill Trail in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Each loop begins precisely on the hour for ten hours straight, testing endurance against time and terrain.
For those seeking a more manageable challenge or looking to join forces with friends, relay teams can choose between two configurations: a duo team of two runners sharing one bib or an adventurous five-person squad. Relay participants enjoy the flexibility to strategize their running order while benefiting from the camaraderie that comes with teamwork on this challenging course.
The 5K event, set for 2:00 PM, offers a taste of the Ultra's route and atmosphere without committing to ten hours of racing. It’s an ideal option for those who want to experience the trail run but prefer a more relaxed pace or are accompanying friends participating in longer events.
Race day will be filled with lively music, delicious food from renowned local vendors Martin’s BBQ and Heavy’s Catering, and plenty of opportunities to socialize at the runner village. Participants can set up tents for shade and rest between loops, making it easier to recharge before tackling the next segment of their journey.
All participants receive a special swag bag packed with unique merchandise celebrating Peyton's legacy, including custom-designed shirts featuring his artwork and finisher medals marking each race completion.
