Imagine leaving class to find water. Carrying heavy containers from home just to get through the school day. Or risking drinking unsafe water because there's no reliable alternative.
For 4,000+ students at G.S. Musave School in Rwanda, access to clean water is a serious challenge. The school relies heavily on expensive water deliveries, and its existing water supply has tested as non-potable.
We're running to help change that.
Join Clemson University's chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) at Nettles Park for a 5K that goes beyond the finish line. We're working alongside local partners in Rwanda to develop sustainable water solutions that help communities thrive.
We've already completed our Kagarama Spring Box Project, improving water collection at a spring relied on by more than 1,500 people. Now we're working to address the water challenges students at G.S. Musave School face.
👟 Run it. Walk it. Make it matter.
👕 REP THE CAUSE! Add a Clemson EWB 5K T-shirt to your registration and show your support for clean water!
Every registration helps support our mission. Every step raises awareness. Every contribution brings us closer to a future where students can focus on learning instead of searching for water.
Run for them. Run for a cause. Run for Rwanda.
