Pembrokeshire Duathlon

Neyland's Waterside Sprint Duathlon offers an engaging multisport experience along the picturesque Milford Haven Waterway on March 7, 2027. This British Triathlon-sanctioned race is tailored for both newcomers and seasoned athletes alike, featuring a sprint distance course that includes a flat 5k run through Neyland Marina and Westfield Pill Nature Reserve, a rolling 21k bike loop through tranquil Pembrokeshire lanes, and a final scenic 2.5k run back along the waterside to Brunel Quay.
The event starts with runners heading out from Brunel Quay towards Neyland Marina before looping around the cycle path alongside Westfield Pill Nature Reserve. After transitioning at Brunel Quay, participants tackle the bike leg on a mix of main roads and quiet country lanes, offering both challenging climbs and fast descents over 208 meters in total elevation gain.
The race concludes with another waterside run back to the finish line, where athletes can enjoy stunning views of the Milford Haven Waterway. The event is capped at 200 competitors and welcomes relay teams of two or three members who share responsibilities across both runs and the bike leg.
Participants will receive electronic timing, a guaranteed organic cotton t-shirt from Howies if they enter by February 13, 2027, along with free electronic photos courtesy of RAW Photography. Prizes are awarded in various age categories as well as for relay teams.
The race adheres to British Triathlon rules and regulations, ensuring safety on the open roads during the bike portion. Medical support is available throughout the event, providing peace of mind for all participants.
