Oman ULTRA 5K 2026

On December 31, 2026, runners from around the world will converge in Oman to take part in the fourth edition of the ULTRA 5K. Organized by Zaha Global, this endurance challenge offers four distinct options for participants: the grueling 10 x 5K, where athletes run a full 5 kilometers every hour for ten consecutive hours; the slightly less intense but still formidable 8 x 5K and 5 x 5K formats, each with their own unique pacing demands. For those who prefer team camaraderie over solo grit, there's also an exciting relay option: two runners alternate running four races apiece to complete eight total 5K loops.
The race begins at 4:00 PM, setting the stage for a night filled with determination and perseverance as athletes push their limits against the backdrop of Oman’s enchanting landscapes. Each participant will have access to sports massages, nutritious food, refreshing drinks, and downtime between races to refuel and recover before tackling the next loop.
All finishers are rewarded with a special ULTRA-5K medal and t-shirt, commemorating their achievement as they complete either 25 kilometers (five loops), 40 kilometers (eight loops), or an impressive 50 kilometers (ten loops). This event is open to runners aged 18 and older who are ready for one of the most challenging races in Oman. Registration can be completed on PremierOnline.com, so mark your calendars and prepare to conquer this unique ultra-distance running experience.
