NOVGOROD ICE 2027

Experience the seventh edition of the Winter Run Festival, set to take place on February 13, 2027, in historic Veliky Novgorod. The festival offers runners three daytime distances—6 km, 15 km, and 21 km—as well as a nighttime 15 km route and a special children's race.
The course winds through picturesque landscapes starting near the ancient Kremlin walls and continues along the scenic paths of Vitoslavlitsy Museum grounds. Runners will also pass by Yurevsky Monastery and follow the banks of the serene Volkhov River, taking in views of Lake Myachino. Each participant receives a branded event t-shirt, a souvenir bag from partners, and unique finisher medals crafted by local Novgorod masters.
The race guarantees well-marked routes with delicious refreshment stations at key points along the way. Spectacular scenery and enthusiastic support await runners throughout their journey. Upon crossing the finish line, participants will be greeted with hot food to warm them up after their run.
Top competitors can look forward to winning trophies as well as prizes from sponsors. All winners receive certificates and additional gifts in recognition of their achievements.
Beyond running events, festival-goers have opportunities to explore Veliky Novgorod's rich history. On the day before racing begins, a fan-run event takes place in Kremlin Park on Saturday evening. Throughout the day, runners can also enjoy free museum visits and guided tours around Veliky Novgorod.
