XVII GATChINSKIY POLUMARAFON 08.11.2026

On November 8, 2026, the XVI Gatchinsky Half Marathon invites runners to experience an exhilarating race through the heart of Gatchina. The city transforms into a pedestrian paradise as major streets are closed off for participants and spectators alike.
The half marathon course is known for its fast times with flat terrain, scenic views, cool weather conditions, and fierce competition. Ideal for setting personal records, runners will enjoy an asphalt-covered route that minimizes elevation changes, making it perfect for speed enthusiasts.
Registration opens on August 1, 2025, offering various categories including the half marathon (21.1 km), a 10-kilometer run, and a shorter 2-kilometer fun race. The event attracts up to 4990 participants across all distances.
The main start for the half marathon is at the intersection of Sobornaya Street and Krasnaya Street on November 8th at noon, followed by the 10 km run starting at 10:30 AM and the 2-kilometer race beginning at 10:40 AM. Both distances feature precise timing checkpoints to ensure accurate results.
Participants will receive a finisher's medal, electronic chip for time tracking, water stations along the route, and warm-up clothing upon crossing the finish line. The event also includes post-race tea and access to saunas for relaxation after completing their respective courses.
For those interested in family activities, children’s races are organized indoors on November 8th with categories ranging from ages 4 to 10 years old.
The Gatchinsky Half Marathon promises a day filled with excitement and camaraderie among runners of all levels.
