The 2026 Nanjing Vitality Wave Run Series – Tangquan Winter Warm-Up Run takes place on November 8, 2026, at the Jiu Long Lake Park in Jiangbei New District’s Tangquan Street. This event features an 8.3km open race and offers chip timing, a finisher medal, and a completion certificate to all participants. With a capacity of just 950 runners, early registration is essential as spots are limited.
As part of the Nanjing Vitality Wave Run Series, organized by the Nanjing Sports Bureau, this event aims to highlight the city's cultural heritage through immersive running experiences across four distinctive seasons. The series showcases Nanjing’s natural beauty and historical significance with its "Mountain, Water, City, Forest" theme, inviting runners to explore the unique landscapes of each season.
For the final leg of the year-round series, participants will traverse through Tangquan, known for its hot springs nestled in the northern foothills of Laoshan. The race route winds through ancient forests and along Jiu Long Lake’s shimmering waters, offering a picturesque view of golden ginkgo trees against a backdrop of misty mountains. After completing the scenic course, runners are invited to warm up with traditional ginger tea and soak in soothing hot springs.
