Xinhang lies in northeast Guangde, bordering Changxing in Zhejiang and Yixing in Jiangsu. Eight hundred years ago the Jin commander Wushu's cavalry ran into Yue Fei's army in these hills, and the area is described as the setting for the last of Yue Fei's six victories. Sites such as Yuefei Gou, Yuefei Ling and Niutou Mountain still carry the name of that campaign.
