Mount Shasta Tinman Triathlon

The Mount Shasta Tinman Triathlon, an enduring tradition for over three decades, invites athletes to embrace its scenic beauty and rich community spirit. Nestled near Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort, just southwest of the central Mount Shasta exit on Interstate 5, this triathlon offers a unique blend of natural splendor and athletic challenge.
Participants kick off their adventure with a swim in the pristine waters of Lake Siskiyou Beach and Splash Zone, followed by an exhilarating bike ride through picturesque landscapes. The run segment takes athletes along the eastern trail bordering the lake, providing breathtaking views of Mount Shasta’s majestic peak throughout the journey.
Proceeds from registration fees support vital initiatives led by the Dunsmuir Rotary Club to combat childhood hunger over weekends via their partnership with Wildcat Weekender. This event is not just a test of endurance but also a meaningful contribution toward ensuring that children have access to essential nutrition outside school hours.
Join runners and triathletes on September 5, 2027, for an unforgettable experience where the stunning natural beauty of northern California meets the warmth of community support.
