MOORS VALLEY WILD TRAIL RUNS

Moors Valley Country Park, nestled within the picturesque landscapes of Dorset, hosts another installment of Wild Deer Events on Sunday, May 2nd, 2027. This scenic park offers runners an array of trail options to explore its lush woodland trails and serene lakeside paths.
Participants can choose from a trio of routes: a shorter yet challenging 5-mile course for those looking to experience the beauty without committing too much time; a more substantial 10-mile route that delves deeper into the heart of Moors Valley's natural wonders; or an ambitious 15-mile adventure, which combines both longer and shorter trails for seasoned runners seeking a rigorous challenge.
The park’s varied terrain features winding forest tracks, tranquil lakeside paths, and stretches of quiet woodland, providing a mix of runnable surfaces and testing sections that cater to all fitness levels. The event promises a relaxed yet enthusiastic atmosphere, with the warm welcome characteristic of Wild Deer Events adding to the overall experience.
On race day, participants will benefit from comprehensive support services including chip timing for accurate results, strategically placed feed stations along each route, medical assistance at key points throughout the course, and bespoke finisher medals exclusive to this event. In addition, runners can look forward to receiving a special Wild Deer merchandise item such as socks or an armband.
Parking is available on-site within Moors Valley Country Park for normal park rates, though car sharing is encouraged to minimize environmental impact. The start times are scheduled at 10:00 am for the longer distances and 10:15 am for the shorter route, allowing ample time for runners of all ages to warm up before setting off on their journey through this enchanting natural setting.
